Off to the Consulate

Our last set of documents is off to the China Consulate...thanks to Jacek. I had a last minute crisis at work so my plan to make the copies, get a money order and send it off was squashed - but Jacek saved the day. He drove to my office and picked everything up and was able to process it and get it to UPS before the truck pulled away. They will receive it before Friday.

The other consulates have been quick about getting our documents back to us, however the Chinese New Year is the 29th so I'm sure the Consulate - or at least parts of it - will close. No one seems to know exactly when or for how long.

Mary: I hate to do this to you, but you've been tagged. Feel free to silently curse my name, but then go to my adoption blog at http://dori-love.blogspot.com/ to find out what to do!

Thanks!

My fingers are crossed that the Consulate does a fast turnaround. You'll be DTC before you know it! Happy CNY, too!! --Nina

YEA! We will be DTC at about the same time. Our dossier has been at the consulate for about a week now. About one more to go is what our agency tells us. Then we will be DTC!
