Referrals are out. Those families logged in December 9 through December 14, 2005 will be receiving their referrals this week. Congratulations to all of you.
6 calendar days of referrals means there are now 126 LID days ahead of us to be matched. This rate of referrals gets more depressing each month. If the current rate continues we will not see our child until mid to late 2009. Yes, you read that right - that's a '9', not an '8'.
This is so very hard. For any new readers, we expected about a 10 month wait, give or take. Now we'll be lucky to wait only 3 years.
And please, if you comment, leave out the "worththewaitallingodstime" bullshit. I simply don't want to hear it.

My heart is with you and thoughts and prayers are with you always.
I wish there was something I could do or say to take the wait and make it shorter.
Hang in there, there is going to be a very lucky little girl/boy that may not even be in this world yet. Believe me that baby will be a very lucky and loved baby!
We will all welcome her/him with open arms! Right into the ADAMCHIK family!
Imagine your great grandparents traveled across the ocean to get here now your little one will do the same.
Hang in there and I'm sending {{hugs}}
Okay, 2009? How about - think of all the extra pre-child vacations you can squeeze in then?
Tough one - I honestly cannot pretend to know what the wait is like, so I won't even try. I'm trying to thing of things to say and they all sound cheesy, so I'm not putting them in writing. :)
So I'll say good luck.
Hugs, no words just hugs.
I, too, am completey fed up with all those tired cliches regarding the wait. It sucks, plain and simple...
It completely sucks beyond words. I'm so sorry. I get it, I really do. This wait blows.
All worth the wait...yadda yadda...yes of course, but we each ought to be getting 2 or 3 children for the length of this wait!!! sorry it's dragging you down...as you saw from the ALTS...it's dragging us all down...sucky sucky sucky. We signed up for 10 months give or take. not 30 something give or take. hang in there...
Ugh - I hear you. That worth the wait stuff always got me irritated. I mean - of course we know it is worth it - that is why we signed up. But of course now what we signed up for has changed so much. Yes, we do have our baby now and believe me - I feel blessed beyond words. But I will never ever forget how hard the wait was, and I will never forget those behind me in line. Just know we are all hear cheering you on until the beautiful end!

oops - I meant "here: cheering you on - I can spell - NOT! :)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
